![]() I bought it outright as I plan to keep it until it dies!! LOL I cannot say how effective the AWD is yet but from what I have heard I will be thankful I spent a little extra $ to get it come winter in Michigan. I have only owned it for 3 days but I think I can honestly say it is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. While it is a very "techy" vehicle everything is easy to understand and operate. We also test drove a Chevy Trax and while it was nice, there is no comparison to the Encore, much higher quality. I love the quality of the Buick brand and it is a very nice, quiet, … fuel efficient ride. Even if we have people in the back seats there is more than ample room for us to not feel squashed. I was worried that my wife and I (larger than average people) would be crowded in the Encore but we were surprised by the amount of room in it. Just bought the 2019 Preferred Model Encore AWD and I absolutely love it!!. I highly recommend this Encore to anyone seeking a quality subcompact SUV. It is definitely worth the slightly higher price. This Buick Encore is quiet and smooth and it feels much more like a luxury SUV. There were so many other SUV’s in this class that did not have the technology that this vehicle possesses. The infotainment system is very user friendly. I never thought that I would own a Buick, but I am truly glad that I made the choice to purchase the Encore. I found the engine to have more than ample power both in the city and on the highway. I … read the “CON” of the vehicle was lack of power of the standard engine. I previously owned a Jeep Renegade and a Kia Soul, but neither of these two vehicles had the smooth ride and luxury feel of the interior that the Buick Encore possesses. The Encore is very nimble and handles well in most driving situations. This vehicle became a standout after I finished my research of the vehicles in this class. I am extremely impressed with the 2019 Buick Encore. A sunroof is available on all but the base trim. A navigation system and premium seven-speaker Bose sound system are options for the Sport Touring and Essence trims. The Essence tops out with LED headlights, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable passenger seat, heated front seats, driver-seat memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, a 120-volt household-style power outlet, and the blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems.Īn optional package for the Essence includes automatic wipers, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision alert, lane departure warning and an advanced cabin filter. Moving up to the Sport Touring trim adds foglights, a rear spoiler and remote start to the base model's features. On the Preferred, you also get floor mats, a cargo cover and eligibility for additional options such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and remote start. Technology features include an 8-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, two USB ports, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, GM's OnStar communications (with 4G LTE and an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot), and a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, keyless ignition and entry, heated mirrors, roof rails, rear privacy glass, air conditioning, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and 60/40-split folding rear seats. The base 1SV and Preferred trim levels are equipped similarly.

Text version for those who can't hear or turn up the volume : Intro The theme was voted by my Patreon heros who support the creation of open tutorials Thanks again their support ! I hope you'll like it and I'm open to crits and comments to improve the next ones. ![]() Krita has really helped me as an artist and not only has it opened doors for me concerning digital art, but it has also encouraged me to improve my traditional art as well.A new video tutorial about Line-art tips in Krita. I would also like to thank the developers/moderators who have spent countless hours to create this amazing drawing software. I would like to thank for their support and warm welcome. And my krita-artists account via this link: They can check out my Facebook page via this link. For the hair I used the _Chalk_Grainy brush and for the subtle details on the face I used the _Texture_Spray brush. I used the _Ink-1_Precision to make the lineart and the _Airbrush_Soft, _Basic-5_Size and the _Basic-6_Details for the shading. What techniques and brushes did you use in it? After this piece my digital art improved quite a bit as well. This is my favorite so far because this is when I started to establish my painting technique and when I started to understand colour theory better. If you had to pick one favorite of all your work done in Krita so far, what would it be, and why? Most of Krita's reviews are very positive. I have looked into paid drawing software in the past, but I couldn't afford any of them and their reviews are not as great as the ones I have seen on Krita. ![]() Well, it's a million times better than Microsoft Paint and it's an amazing program. What sets Krita apart from the other tools that you use? Sometimes if I have a file that's too big Krita tends to crash a lot and lag. ![]() Is there anything that really annoys you? On top of that, personally, I battle with picking the right skin colors so maybe the developers could add a category under the help section in Krita were they give RGB codes of real skin colours to help beginners such as myself. The text tool is a little hard to navigate and the lasso tool could be a bit smoother and less jagged. What do you think needs improvement in Krita? The blending modes are fantastic and that combined with the HSV/HSL Adjustment really brings any drawing to life. Krita is the best software for digital painting I have seen so far and it really lets you explore your creativity and pushes you past your comfort zone. I love almost everything about Krita, it is amazing user friendly software with so many tools! Personally, I love the liquify tool and of course all the brushes. What was your first impression?Īt first it was a little overwhelming with all the tools and settings, but once I started to understand everything it became so much easier. It sounded really great to me and after doing more research I decided to give it a try. Microsoft Paint was a real pain to use and I could barely draw anything because of the lack of functionality and tools, so I went on the internet and looked up free painting software and Krita was one of the first ones that popped up. Both digital drawing and traditional drawing has their pros and cons, one of the advantages of digital art is the undo button and the liquify tool, which I use often. I don't paint traditionally, but I love to draw on paper with my graphite pencils. What makes you choose digital over traditional painting? At first I used Microsoft Paint, but that didn't last long because it isn't that great and it limited me. Now I digitally paint with an old laptop and a built in mouse - I don't have a drawing tablet. I started digital art only 7 months ago, so I am still very much a beginner, but before that I only drew on paper. How and when did you get to try digital painting for the first time? I don't have many art role models, but I have been inspired by Rossdraws, Jessica Smith Art and Bowman Art. Whose work inspires you most - who are your role models as an artist? I don't think I have a fixed genre, but if I had to choose it would be a mix between fantasy art and semi-realism. So far I am a hobby artist because I am still in school, so I only draw in my spare time, but one day I plan to sell my art on my own website. Do you paint professionally, as a hobby artist, or both? I draw both digitally and with graphite pencils on paper. I am a self-taught artist, I was born in 2004 in South Africa and I have only been creating art for 4 years now. My name is Jessica, but my art name is J2J-Art. The schools of Japan ended up taking heavy influence from Shinto beliefs, and thus added gods into their tradition. As it spread throughout Asia, different schools emphasized different ideas, some of which involved the worship of gods or deities. Unlike Shintoism, however, Buddhism did not originally involve the worship of gods. Where some, like "Amida" (Pure Land Buddhism), explore the celestial components of the Buddha through scripture, others, like "Zen," focus on training the mind toward awareness through meditation. Just like Shintoism, Buddhism in Japan isn’t centralized under a single authority, but rather is split into different schools, all with differing interpretations of the religion. However, it wasn’t until the Kamakura period, several hundred years later, that it really took root in the islands. From there, it made its way to Japan by about 500 AD, during the Kofun period. Buddhism originated in India, and eventually exploded in popularity throughout South and East Asia, arriving in China during the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. See our writers’ top picks! Religion in Japan Todayīuddhism, an import from the Asian mainland, is a bit more structured compared to traditional Shinto worship. And what about the Buddha and bodhisattva? What do the Japanese people believe in, exactly? Who are their gods, what are their names, and what do they do? How does it all tie together? Maybe you're even aware of their seemingly endless multitude, as every corner and neighborhood in Japan seems to have a shrine dedicated to one god or another. But chances are you have no idea where the kami fit into the religious scene in Japan today. You might have heard of kami, traditional Shinto gods of Japanese mythology. The second, temples, are places of prayer for Buddhism, a religion imported from India around 1,500 years ago. From the floating red torii (gate) of Itsukushima Bay in Hiroshima, to the graceful curves of Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo and its associated towering pagoda, these places of prayer are some of the most iconic and beautiful places in Japan.īut did you know that there is actually a difference between shrines and temples? The first, shrines, are places of worship for the uniquely Japanese religion called Shinto, which is as old as Japanese history itself. If you’ve ever been to Japan, or seen it on television, chances are you’ve been exposed to Japanese shrines and temples. 2pc EM sets are only an option for Aggravate teams Physical DMG sets are an option for on-field DPS builds. ![]() Since Fischl cannot dash or attack during her transformation, it is recommended to cancel Fischl’s Burst early by swapping to another character as soon as possible.Īny 2pc combo of ATK%/EM/Physical/Thundering FuryĪ versatile build for any playstyle.
